You will likely be solicited by large national companies that offer websites with large amounts of pre-written content so that you can be a resource to your customers. We have found that most people do not view that material, and that all those categories make your website increasingly confusing. Additional we have recently observed two examples of poor practices. These large national companies claim to be in a position to serve you exceptionally well and inexpensively, but the cost can be great!

One real estate firm that elected to use one large national company's service was given a framed website that cost them their search utility positioning. Framesets have not been a wise approach for at least the past five years.

Another firm using a large national company for their development and management was being used to market other firms' websites. If you look at the source code of a website from this firm, you will see numerous links to other firms.
